Hitech EMS Ltd offers clients a reliable and cost effective source for the supply of those products and services defined in our Product List. The majority of our products are manufactured in China where all too often if the work is not managed properly a low price can be achieved but at the expense of quality. Our strategy to combat this risk is effective and is a three point one:
∑ Select only technically capable companies and develop together with them suitable practical quality systems that will consistently produce pieces to specification
∑ Remain committed to these manufacturers and develop long term supply agreements
∑ Maintain our own engineering team within China. When required the members of this team are stationed on site to expedite manufacturing progress and monitor quality processes at critical stages of manufacture. Individual team members report to the Director – Chinese Affairs who is fluent in both English and Chinese and has direct access to key executive management personnel within all of our suppliers in China.
In this way we believe we offer a more comprehensive, cost effective and reliable service than do our competitors. In addition to offering competitive prices we can maintain quality requirements and are able to achieve priority placement in the production control scheduling of parts manufacture. Crucially we have also achieved the recognition of consistency and ability within our suppliers that leads to special and favourable attention being placed on our orders by local management. This in turn assists the process of producing parts to the quality required. To complete the cycle a project manager is assigned who will liaise with both the client and manufacturer throughout the process from receiving an enquiry to the shipment of parts and after sales support.
To summarise: It is our objective to create supply systems and services superior to those of our competitors and to offer to our clients the cost advantage of sourcing in emerging economies, particularly in China, while minimising the risk of late delivery and poor quality. It is also our intent to develop and maintain credible, trusted, long term and enhanced customer relationships and to become our clients’ first choice partner in their procurement of the products and services we offer.

Critical to achieving and sustaining these goals is the creation of an organisational structure that can be trusted to deliver solutions reliably. Our approved supplier base therefore contains only companies that have successfully met our strict selection criteria. We then proceed to work closely with counterparts at all levels within each organisation. This policy enables the development of a partnership with long term agreements and regular and close contact at all levels. We also have technical surveillance engineers who, when required, participate in the quality control process at the manufacturer’s site. In addition we have won the confidence of executives, managers and operators at all of our suppliers. Together these factors allow us to achieve best price, best service and best scheduling – all of which are passed on to our customers. We are therefore able to combine competitive prices with minimised risk.
